Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.
A burst of yellow breaks the frame,
Light above calls out a name,
Energy spills, the self lets go,
And something brighter starts to glow.
In Release, I let the central figure rise in a surge of luminous yellow, as if the body itself is opening and giving way to something divine, releasing the light within. Energy pours outward in bold strokes, dissolving form into motion, while above, a radiant field of light hovers—alive, watchful, and deeply present. The surrounding colours push and pull like tension being shed, until what remains is a moment of surrender, where the self softens and something freer, brighter, and more expansive takes hold.
