Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.
Light dances on the pond’s soft skin,
Colours drift and swirl within.
A fish dances through shadows streams,
Alive inside the water’s dreams.
In Watery World I painted layers of shifting colour to capture the feeling of light moving across the surface of water. Among the shimmering reflections, a bright fish appears swimming through the pond, its vivid colour flickering like a moment of life beneath the constantly changing patterns of water and light.
