A face awakens in living light,
Crowned with colours burning bright.
Figures gather at the rim,
All the world flows out from him.
In Vibrant Energy I painted a powerful central face emerging from a swirl of colour and movement, almost crowned with a flowing head-dress of shapes and symbols. Around the edges of the canvas small figures and marks appear, suggesting people, stories, and moments of life moving around the central presence. The sweeping arc of colour surrounds the face like a wave of energy, reflecting the feeling that life, creativity, and human experience are constantly flowing through and around us.
