The Unicorn and the Musician
Across the sky they travelled
On the magical notes
Over the vast seas.
Colours dancing in the wind,
A unicorn drifting through dreams,
While music carried the night,
And imagination lit the stars.
In The Musician and the Unicorn, I painted a dreamscape where music and imagination drift freely through colour and movement. In the lower left, a musician floats gently through the swirling tones, their presence suggested through flowing forms and rhythmic brushstrokes. Above, the unicorn with its purple face emerges in the centre of the canvas, almost suspended in the air, a symbol of magic, creativity, and the mysterious world that music can open. The surrounding colours — reds, blues, and yellows — move like waves of sound, blending the real and the imagined into one luminous moment.
