Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.

What will he say to the duck?
In The Spaceman and the White Duck, I allowed imagination to wander between worlds—where the familiar and the unknown sit side by side without explanation. The spaceman drifts quietly through the middle left, not lost but observing, while the white duck at the base feels grounded, almost symbolic of something simple and true. Above, a suggestion of a vessel hovers, and to the right, a fragmented city emerges—perhaps abandoned, perhaps just waiting. I used bold, shifting colours and layered movement to blur the boundaries between space, earth, and memory. For me, it’s a story of exploration—of carrying something innocent and real with you, even as you move through strange, uncertain landscapes.
