In The Red Bull and the Phoenix I explored the meeting of powerful archetypes within a fiery landscape of reds, golds, and deep shadows. A dark bull emerges from the centre of the painting, representing strength, instinct, and the grounding forces of the earth, while nearby the red phoenix rises through light, symbolising renewal, transformation, and rebirth. Between these energies a human figure appears, suggesting the inner journey between raw power and spiritual awakening. The painting reflects the timeless archetypal struggle and harmony between destruction and renewal, where from intensity and chaos new life and understanding can rise.
