Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.

In Structured Life, I explored the tension between what we try to control and what naturally resists it. The painting appears wild and uncontained—figures and fragments emerging, dissolving, and overlapping without clear boundaries—yet beneath that energy lies an unseen rhythm, a quiet order holding it all together. I used bold, instinctive strokes and layered colour to reflect how life feels: messy, unpredictable, full of movement, yet somehow still coherent. The figures are not fixed—they shift, like roles we move through—reminding me that structure isn’t always visible, and that sometimes it exists not in neat lines, but in the flow itself.
