Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.

In Reclining Nude I explored the human form through flowing colour and movement rather than precise outlines. Within the layered brushstrokes, a reclining figure gradually appears, resting across the canvas with a sense of softness and calm. I painted warm tones of orange, yellow, and pink mingle with cool blues and greens, creating an atmosphere of light and energy around the body. The painting reflects the timeless artistic theme of the reclining figure, where the human form becomes part of the surrounding landscape of colour and emotion.
