A green man lifts its hand.
Through colour, sky, and moving ground,
A quiet reach for life is found.
In Reaching Out I painted a green figure (the green man) emerging from a colourful, shifting landscape. The sweeping brushstrokes suggest hills, sky, and earth moving together, while the figure appears to stretch outward through the scene. The painting reflects the human desire to reach beyond ourselves and connect with the world around us.
