Light held in a darkened hand,
Water whispers, soft and slow,
Night leans in, but won’t quite go.
In this piece, I let the horizon breathe between land, water, and sky, allowing colour to carry the emotion rather than form. The deep, moody purples and greys hold the weight of gathering clouds, while a band of glowing pink and gold breaks through like a quiet promise of light. Below, the water shifts and reflects in layered strokes, restless yet calm, as if holding memory and movement together. It is a moment suspended—where dusk meets hope, and the landscape feels both distant and deeply felt.
