Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.
She turns her face in quiet light,
A pink flower held in gentle sight.
Many thoughts within her flow,
Where colour and feeling softly grow.
In Lady with the Pink Flower I painted a woman seen from several angles as she holds and looks at a soft pink flower and smells the flower in another angle. The shifting colours suggest reflection and emotion, while the flower becomes a quiet moment of beauty within her thoughts.
