Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.
Flowers sing across the hills,
Water dances, bright and still,
A figure bathes in colour’s grace,
Joy runs deep through time and place.
In Joyous is the Mountain Waters, I let the landscape sing with colour, where mountains bloom in yellows, pinks, and purples as if the earth itself is celebrating. The mountains are based on the California Mountains in springtime. The brushstrokes dance across the surface, carrying the energy of flowing water that winds its way through the scene, alive and inviting. In the lower right, a figure slips into the water, not separate from it but becoming part of its rhythm—cleansed, uplifted, and free. This is a place where nature and spirit meet, where joy rises from the land and moves through the body like a quiet, radiant current.
