Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.
Colours gather where the wild fields breathe,
An animal form in the brushstrokes weaves.
Earth, sky, and creature softly blend,
Nature and spirit without an end.
I painted a vibrant, loosely formed animal emerging from energetic layers of colour, standing within an abstracted landscape of sky, earth, and scattered plant forms. The lively brushwork and shifting shapes capture the spirit of being “in the field,” where nature, movement, and the presence of animals blend into a playful and expressive harmony with the land, reminding us to keep a sense of playfulness in our life.
