In Hiding in the Undergrowth, I explore a hidden, watchful world where a central cat-like presence, a snake, and fleeting creatures blend into a shifting, growing landscape. The layered colours and forms reflect the quiet tension of life just beyond sight—alive, aware, and always moving beneath the surface. Nothing feels fixed, everything slightly hidden, as if you’ve just caught a glimpse and it’s already gone. For me, this piece is about awareness—about what lives just beyond our immediate sight, the energy of things watching, waiting, existing quietly within the undergrowth and the cycle of nature.
