Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.
From the dark, a spark takes flight,
Colour breaks into living light,
A pulse that spreads through space untold,
Creation stirring, bright and bold.
In From the Source, I was painting that moment where everything begins—the pulse, the spark, the energy before it takes form. The colours move the way I feel it: flowing, colliding, opening up from a centre that feels alive. The light isn’t something I place; it emerges, pushing through the darker layers, finding its way out. For me, this work is about connection to that deeper source—something unseen but powerful—that moves through us, expands, and becomes creation itself.
