Tracey-Ann begins her work with an abstract expressive style and then sub-consciously connecting with figures, animals, scenery and concepts to develop the message about our connection with life and our place in it.
Colours turn where paths don’t show,
Something waits I almost know,

A hidden spark about to light.
In Around the Corner, I painted that feeling of something just about to reveal itself—movement pulling you forward before you quite understand where you’re going. The forms twist and overlap like glimpses caught mid-turn, colours colliding—reds, yellows, and cool blues—suggesting energy shifting rather than settling. There are hints of figures, of paths, of moments half-seen, as if life is unfolding just beyond your current view. For me, it’s about trust in motion—the quiet excitement that what you cannot yet see is already on its way, waiting just around the corner.
