They frolic and play
They made friends that day.
In Two Red Dragons, I was playing with movement, joy, and that sense of playful energy that doesn’t stay still. The dragons revealed themselves through the colour—one rising, one answering—both smiling, almost laughing as they circle each other. There’s no heaviness here; it’s a dance, a conversation, something alive and light-hearted. I love that the painting turns 180 degrees and still holds together, because energy doesn’t have one direction—it shifts, it flips, it keeps going. For me, this piece is about freedom in motion, where imagination and courage takes over, enjoying the moment.
